Megan Henriod, PT

Megan Henriod, PT, DPT

Megan was born in Johannesburg, South Africa, where she lived until the age of 12. Megan and her family then emigrated to the United States in January 2000 to sunny California with the help of some extended family members. Megan graduated from Simi Valley high school, where she participated in tennis, soccer, cross-country, and track. Not knowing exactly which career interested her, she started taking general classes at Moorpark College and played on the soccer team there for two years. During this time, she started working as a Physical Therapy aid at an outpatient clinic in both West Hills and Simi Valley. She immediately became intrigued by the way that the patient’s responded to treatment and the rewarding nature behind the profession. With new inspiration, Megan transferred from Moorpark to California Lutheran University, where she also played on the soccer team and took on the major of exercise science with emphasis on pre-physical therapy. Being an athlete herself, she was always interested in the sports side of Physical Therapy, and spent some time working as an aid at a sports specific clinic in Westlake before going away to PT school. She decided to move her life over to the east coast, where she attended PT school at Arcadia University near Philadelphia, PA. After a couple very cold winters, she graduated with her doctorate in Physical Therapy in January 2015, at which point she moved back here to California to thaw out and be near her family. In her search for her first job, she came across George Erb’s facility and felt an instant fit with George and his team.
