Darren Zaylor, PT

Darren Zaylor, PT, MPT, CLT

Darren is a staff physical therapist who comes to us from the state of Ohio. Darren graduated from Kent State University in 1992 with a degree in Exercise Science. While a student at KSU he was also a hammer thrower on the track and field team. He earned conference championships as well as tryouts for the
Olympic team in 1992 and again in 1996. Unfortunately he was unable to make an Olympic team but he believes that the training and dedication it took to reach that level helped him to prepare for a career in Physical Therapy.
Darren worked in healthcare and personal training for 8 years before returning to school to get his Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from Ohio University in 2003. Darren practiced in Cleveland, Ohio in an orthopedic PT clinic for 11 years before moving to Camarillo to start a new adventure. Darren enjoys working in orthopedics and particularly likes working with shoulder injuries.
Darren and his wife Kellie, a physician, have two boys, Grant and Cole. He loves to travel, exercise and to make pizzas in his wood fired pizza oven with friends.
